Fayose in the news again! You won’t believe what he did to Ooni of Ife

Respect for the Royal Throne of Oodua:

Gov Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti was spotted few minutes ago greeting Oonirisa, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi at the Abuja Airport few minutes ago.

Not withstanding his political status as the governor of a state, and leading opposing figure in Nigeria, Fayose approached Ooni and respectfully bowed and paid homage.

How he greeted the paramount traditional ruler shocked the bystanders. It was a show of humility and display of respect that was commended by bystanders.

Ekiti APC Members And Their Political Intolerance

image

By Alonge Olufemi

It is a known fact that our APC friends in Ekiti State only love to write and post ugly stuffs(falsehoods) about Gov. Ayodele Fayose but always get upset whenever the governor’s supporters on social media write or post negative stuffs about them. If you have contrary opinions to their views, they will detest you, call you unprintable names and do their worst by either removing or blocking you from their friends’ list.

Most of them have blocked us on Facebook and those who are yet to do so are not displaying the type of maturity expected of them. Instead of arguing wisely by addressing issues with facts, they  always rain curses, they abuse and pelt unwarranted insults on the people who are not on the same page with them. I make bold to say only few APC members in Ekiti have what it takes to react to issues without using foul language. They can’t tolerate what PDP members and Fayose’s supporters tolerate.

Despite the high level of education of Dr. Kayode Fayemi, he was unable to tolerate  the incessant and extreme heat given him on social media by Lere Olayinka. As a Governor of Ekiti State then, he ordered police to arrest Lere in 2012 because the young man was very active online and determined to expose all the obnoxious policies of his government. Lere was arrested, charged to court and when he was released, instead of him to keep mute and leave Fayemi alone, he remained resolute and became stronger in his critical analysis until the real image of APC government of Fayemi was made known to the whole wide world.

As a ruling party in the country but opposition in Ekiti State, these people are yet to learn their lesson. They are at it again and this time around, it  is not Lere Olayinka, the latest person they are ignorantly shooting to stardom via their intolerance is another fearless man and a well known social media activist, Bola Agboola. He was invited by the Nigeria Police after the State Spokesman of APC in the state, Hon.(Chief) Taiwo Olatunbosun petitioned the police that the young man is an incessant attacker of Aisha  Buhari, Muhammadu Buhari and APC as a party. Top amongst his offense according to Olatunbosun was that he turns down the president’s head on his Facebook timeline, as if that’s the reason Buhari is unable to move Nigeria forward or at least maintain what he met.

With this uncivilized action of Olatunbosun, I can state clearly anywhere that what APC government is looking for is a way to silence opposition in Nigeria at all cost because I am yet to know what  Bola Agboola had written or posted on social media about APC members in Ekiti or about our weak and  tired President that warrant invitation from Nigeria Police. Has Bola Agboola called the president Brainless? Did some prominent people in Nigeria not refer to former President Jonathan as clueless? Were those people arrested? It is shameful that Olatunbosun who has been making destructive criticism against Fayose right from the day he was picked as PDP Candidate in 2014 would want a fellow Ekiti indigene arrested, prosecuted and jailed for airing his opinion about a non performing president and party!

We were in this country when GEJ was the President and we heard a lot of horrible words used against him by the APC sympathizers and yet nobody was touched. I think the wise men in APC should tell those irrational members of the party in Ekiti who instigated this Nigeria Police invitation to my good friend that their action will never preclude him from posting negative stories about their party and its members. Bola Agboola that I know will never be afraid of any invitation from the Nigeria Police, he was there on Tuesday and he will  be there again on Monday.

The unpleasant change will change one day.

Buhari’s APC Declare War on Social Media Activists… Want Them Jailed For Posting Anti-Buhari Posts

Our trip to the Police Headquarters

By Bola Agboola

Yes, we were there as a team. I got wind of an invitation from the Police last Thursday asking me to come for an interview with the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Criminal Investigation Department. I thought it was a petition to the police from  Aunty Motunde Fajuyi, of course I have reasons to think in that direction since she has been reporting me here and there alleging that I was behind online attacks against her person. Alas, I was wrong.

It wasn’t Aunty Motunde that reported me, it was the Ekiti State APC Publicity Secretary, Hon. Taiwo Olatunbosun who did. He asked the Police to arrest, prosecute and jail me. My offense? That I wrote a letter on 2nd July 2016 in his name to Mrs. Aisha Buhari asking her to prove her innocence in the Harliburton Scandal. The second petition was that I go online turning upside down Mr. President Buhari’s picture, the third is that I am a ceaseless attacker of the first lady, Mrs. Aisha Buhari.

Printed copies of the alleged activities were attached to the petition submitted to the police.

Hon. Olatunbosun didn’t stop at that, he told the police that ‘Bola Agboola, Debola Akingbade, Gbadura Oluwasola and their cohort’ goes about the world maligning other people, especially important personalities whose opinions run contrary to ours. I was asked if I understood the content of the petition and I said I did, I was asked if I would like to react to the petition and I said yes, I reacted in writing. I wrote my side of the story. I was asked to produce someone who will sign my bail form, my boss, Lere Olayinka was on hand to do so. I was granted bail and asked to show up again next Monday.

It’s crystal clear the APC, both at federal and state level wants a silent opposition, it’s no news that they are intolerant of the opposition. Even when we do not have The Nation, when we don’t have Punch, when we don’t have Leadership, the only weapon we have, The Social Media, they won’t want us to use, that is unacceptable, we can’t afford to cave in. Should we not talk when paying #145/litre for petrol is like removing hair from the nostril? Why shouldn’t we complain when we have no job on our hands against what Buhari and APC promised us, why shouldn’t we complain when we don’t have food in our belly and a bag of rice is sold for #18,000 against #8,500 we used to buy when the clueless GEJ was President.

Fayose often say ‘when you beat a child, he/she has the right to cry, it is when you don’t allow the child cry that you have acted wickedly’, Buhari is whipping our ass, don’t we have the right to cry? Why not allow us wail peacefully without police harassment and intimidation, this is Ekiti, we don’t succumb to intimidation. If APC  thinks taking us out of circulation will help them, trust me it won’t work. Freedom of speech I believe is a right and not privilege, I believe Nigerians that are pressed to the wall should speak out. Tyrants don’t have their ways for life, it won’t start with this administration!

To all who have shown concern through various means of communication, I say Thank You So Much, I must say I am overwhelmed by your support. May God bless you all.
